Lagona Divers Card

Tour Operator

We train our divers according to the guidelines of CMAS and PADI.
We offer beginner training courses, advanced programs and many specialty courses up to instructor training (CMAS only), or to the Divemaster Course (PADI). All are conducted in small groups.

CMAS

Dive program Details
IDA Basic Diver Min. age: 12 years. The training is conducted by an diving instructor. After completion the student should possess the basic knowledge and skills for safe scuba and snorkel diving.
IDA Diver 1 / CMAS* Min. age: 14 years. The training is conducted by a diving instructor. The Certified *-diver is entitled to dive in a buddy team with a ***- diver or equivalent level.
IDA Diver 2 / CMAS** Min. age: 16 years.. The training is conducted by a diving instructor. The CERTIFIED **-diver is entitled to dive in a buddy team with a diver of the same training level.
IDA Diver 3 / CMAS*** Min. age: 18 years.. The training is conducted by a diving instructor. The certified ***-diver is entitled to guide dive groups in sole responsibility.

PADI

Dive program Details
Scuba Diver Min. age: 15 years. The course is conducted by a diving instructor. The certified Scuba Diver is entitled to do scuba dives not deeper than 12 meter only under supervision of a divemaster or an instructor.
PADI Open Water Diver Min. age: 15 years. The course is conducted by a diving instructor. Der PADI Open Water Diver is entitled to do scuba dives in a buddy team not deeper than the recommended depth of 18m.
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Min. age: 15 years. The course is conducted by a diving instructor. The certified Advanced Open Water Diver is entitled to do scuba dives in a buddy team not deeper than 30m.
PADI Rescue Diver Min. age: 15 years. The course is conducted by a diving instructor. The course includes various training scenarios for self-rescue and rescue of other divers, both underwater and on land.
PADI Divemaster Min. age: 18 years. The course is conducted by a diving instructor. Participation requires a completed Rescue Diver course or an equivalent level, a current first aid training (for example the EFR Course) and at least 20 logged dives. Before the certification can be done the participant needs total min 60 logged dives.
