Hard to believe but true!
It actually happened in the Blue Hole, the most famous dive site of Dahab:
Kerstin Feister, who came with Lagona Travel to Dahab, discovered the whale shark and she was luckily able to capture some photos.
The group came from "The Bells", had just crossed the saddle at the legendary Blue Hole when the whale shark suddenly appeared. The came very close to the group and stayed for several minutes.
"Since 2006 I have been running Lagona Divers based in Tropitel Oasis Resort. A long time ago I have finished my training as a diving instructor in Dahab, but I do not remember ever having heard about such an unusual dive." (Bastian Michel, 35)
